Just shipped v1.3.5 of BBSFirewall - a lightweight Node.js TCP proxy firewall built for BBS telnet/SSH traffic. Drop it in front of your board and it handles IP filtering, rate limiting, country blocking, and auto-block triggers, with an HTTPS admin UI you run entirely yourself.
What's new in this release:
Two-factor login for the admin UI - TOTP authenticator app support with one-time backup codes, plus scrypt-hashed passwords. No more plaintext credentials sitting in .env.
Refreshed admin UI - section icons throughout, a dedicated Lists tab for whitelist/blocklist/trusted-hosts/triggers, and a System Stats tab with live bandwidth and disk metrics.
Smarter log browsing - logs are grouped by connection type, and anything older than 30 days automatically folds into per-month sections, so a busy board's log tab doesn't turn into an endless scroll.
A Management API - key-authenticated REST endpoints so you can automate firewall config from your own tooling instead of clicking through the UI every time.
Logging on by default - sensible 30-day retention out of the box, fully configurable, with automatic pruning.
