    I have been creating an ANSI inspired art tool specifically for creating art for a BBS inspired dungeon crawler. I posted a video here about a month ago showing a bit of it. This video shows a bit more of the work that I've done. Switched to classic16 color ANSI palette and added support for some animated transitions (scrolling, dithering).
    The entire renderer is done using ASCII escape sequences that are compatible with MS-DOS. The terminal in the video is output using xterm.js in a web browser using the IBM_VGA 16x8 font. submitted by /u/jcbbjjttt [link] [comments]
