  • Does anyone actually read/post on message boards?

    Seems like pretty much folks come for the door games and that is really about it... The BBS systems I have visited to get a feel of what is out there has mostly dead message boards (other than sysop stuff or some networked boards). Is this really the state of modern BBSing?
    I sure miss the days of a small community growing together on a board, but I am just not seeing that out there... maybe I am just going to the wrong boards? Don't know. I anticipated it being slow, but seems more dead than slow. submitted by /u/Future-AI-Dude [link] [comments]
