Hey r/bbs! I've been working on a fork of SyncTERM that I wanted to share. PhotonTERM is a BBS terminal client that supports Telnet and SSH, with full ANSI/CP437 support. It's based on SyncTERM (which is excellent), but the main reason I forked it was to refactor SSH to work natively via libssh2 and to isolate the application so it could be built without needing all of Synchronet: Uses your ~/.ssh/ keys automatically (ed25519, ecdsa, rsa) Works with ssh-agent (macOS Keychain, gpg-agent, etc.) Verifies host fingerprints and stores them per-entry
Theme support has been updated to change the color palette based on the theme, and several themes are included.
Finally, on MacOS the application is notarized and signed by Apple.
