Are there anything else going on with the current BBS scene other than door games?

Just an honest question, I got a BBS that I frequent just to play LORD. BBS's used to be the center of my life in the early 90's so it was messages boards, group chat, and file transfers. I guess, are there any BBS's with an active social community other than games?
