I have gone through the cycle of restarting my BBS, trying to advertise and get new members, and struggling to make all of my old DOS games and systems work properly in modern worlds, many times now and almost entirely because I miss playing LORD. When I first heard about Legend of the Green Dragon, I thought it might scratch the itch, but it just never did it for me. Part of what I liked about LORD was how much variety you could add to the game through IGM's. I finally decided I needed to build a web native version that was as true and authentic as possible AND maintained the ability to install and configure IGMs.
I would love people to help play around with it and let me know if you find bugs or things I could do to make it better. Also, if there are IGMs you would love to see, let me know that as well. I built a simple turbo pascal decompiler, so I'm extracting the ANSI art and source code from the games and the IGM's, and if people end up enjoying this game, I will probably work to make some web versions of a few others. Let me know what you think or if you are interested in being a tester! I'd call this an Alpha right now, but I was too excited to not start getting some feedback :)
