  • WWIV 5.8 is flagged as a Trojan

    Just tried downloading the wwiv-win-x86-5.8.1.3688.zip from https://github.com/wwivbbs/wwiv/releases/tag/wwiv_5.8.1 and Windows Defender blocked it saying it had the "Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml" in it.
    Finding old BBS stuff is hard enough without having to fight viruses as well... Good grief!! submitted by /u/Future-AI-Dude [link] [comments]
