    Does anybody remember the free access network BBS that I believe was based out of Toronto? Is anyone around that was a part of it? It was a highly addictive chat based BBS, to this day I don't understand how it existed for about two years. It was able to handle dozens of callers at a time, didn't charge a fee, no advertising. Just imagining the network and setup required for the time in the 80s is mind boggling.
    As well there were a few lunch meetings where people would meet up from the bbs and quite a few would show up to put a face to the " handle". . good times... submitted by /u/Hot-Scratch1450 [link] [comments]
