I don't have any hardware from those days. I don't know what happened to it all, but I've lost so much shit. The one thing I still have is a Gravis Ultrasound Max. I remember the l33t kids on the scene all had it so I had to get 1. I wouldn't have even known how good these were if it wasn't for the demo scene. Nothing like calling super LD BBSes and racking up ginormous phone bills just to download some demos so I could listen to the tunes. I must have had about 90% of all the demos.
A few years ago I looked these up on Ebay and was blown away at how much people are paying for them lol. Apparently this is still the l33t card to have. I really need to find an old old computer so I can test it out. If it works it appears I can get $400-700 for it depending on the reversion. submitted by /u/Bigheaded_1 [link] [comments]
