ROFNet is looking for a few good ops.
ROFNet (irc.rofbbs.com) is the IRC network behind Reign of Fire BBS â a home for retro computing folks across Commodore 64/128, Amiga, FidoNet, Linux, and Windows crowds. We're looking for a few experienced, level-headed IRC operators to help keep things running smoothly as the community grows.
What we're looking for:
- Comfortable with IRC fundamentals (channels, modes, basic moderation)
- Reliable and even-tempered â more community caretaker than power-tripper
- Bonus points for retro computing / BBS background, but not required
What you'd be doing: light moderation, helping newcomers find their footing, keeping the channels welcoming. Access level matches trust and time put in â we're not handing out keys to the kingdom on day one.
Interested? Stop by irc.rofbbs.com:6697 (TLS) or :6667, hang out in #lobby or #bbs, and say hello.
