Don't you just hate all the videos on Youtube of people effortly soldering >> and desoldering things?!

It takes practice to do things "effortlessly". I used to think soldering was some black art, until I watched someone else who's never done it before build a Eurorack module. He made mistakes, but also learned from them and improved his technique. Now I feel more confident about giving it a go myself.
