• UAE Emulation

I was just thinking last night how long Amiga Emulation has actually been around and how far it has come. Yes I know computers have gotten a lot more powerful and certainly we would not be here without those advances.

Did you know that Amiga emulation itself was actually around while the Amiga was still in production? I remember hearing about UAE around 96 or so (Granted it was known as the UNUSABLE Amiga Emulator), but it was around.

If you now look at everything that can be emulated all under one hood. It is kind of mind boggling.

Really. Not only can you have any micro that came out, but a bevy of mini/mainframe computers as well. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody came up with pre-electronic computer emulators, like the Mark I or ENIAC. Hey, why not Babbage's Difference Engine!
