    Has anyone been able to get DCTelnet to work on thier Amiga?

    I downloaded and istalled it this morning, was able to get it to connect to the BBS, but there is no text displayed on the DCTelnet side. Even though the BBS is outputting on its side.

    I downloaded and istalled it this morning, was able to get it to connect though the BBS is outputting on its side.

    I haven't tried it on my Amiga 1200 unfortunately its sitting on a shelf collecting dust.

    DCTelnet v1.7 is working fine for me so far. I've tested it out on few CNet Amiga systems.

    Where did you download it? From AmiNet? I got the version I have from one of the Amiga Facebook groups.

    Have you tested it with aBSiNTHE? The older versions would choke on some of the ANSI and scrolling effects. It would be very cool if the new one is compatible.

    I have not!

    It got shelved after the failed initial test while I concentrated on other things (flight sim and ham radio..).

    I do not know why it connects, but nothing is sent or recieved. I need to download a version from AMInet and see if I get different results.

    It was my BBS..

    I have not YET tried downloading the archive on Aminet.. I got the version I am reporting the issue on from Facebook.... So there is that.....

    Ha! I dunno where I downloaded it from now that I think about it. Must have been a link shared by the person who gave us the update.

    I have been meaning to test it on absinthe since I too always had problems with the previous version of DCTelnet working with it.
