• WWIVedit and hello.

From Tai Pan@RICKSBBS to All on Sun Mar 11 15:16:00 2007
My first BBS was opened in 1994. Now, having found other uses of my time for
a ten year pause, Loftlore is back.

Or... Loftlore MAY be back. Running a BBS can be time consuming. It is certainly computer consuming. I am in the decision making stage. Should I run this BBS or not (statement to you people, retorical question to me).
    ~
I may try, but only if it meets stanards I reach way back when. That means many thing, but the first is external editors.

I ran a WWiV BBS and LOVED the WWiVEditor. It came with a spell checker - something I assume FEdit STILL does not have.

I promise to ask a lot of questions but to title them correctly. Thus the answers (if forthcoming) will (may) help others).

    Question one. WWiVEdit...

What is the command string. What directory should the BBS look for WWiVEdit in (in other words, where should I put the DOS WWiVEdit EXE file)?

This is the wrong sub-board for Synchronet support questions. However, to answer your question, download ftp://vert.synchro.net/main/sbbs_3rd/wwedsbbs.zip for helpful files in setting up WWIVedit with Synchronet.
