The closest thing to a UFO I have ever seen was a meteor. I wish I could see a UFO!

I remember back in the 80s one evening I was coming in from outside when a bright light n the low northern sky caught my attention. I called out to my mom and brother to step outside to see it. It was slow and silent and grew in size the closer it got. Little pieces of it were falling off as it got closer. Then it just winked out. It was witnessed by several neighbors my mom called on phone to go see. The duration was about 5 minutes. telnet://ricksbbs.synchro.net:23
