• String Theory and Michio

I saw this sub-bord here for super sciences & events, so I thought I'd post here about something I've found interesting.

Several years ago, someone I knew told me about Michio Kaku, a leading theoretical physicist who has been working on string theory, which scientists hope may be the "theory of everything" they've been looking for to link together quantum physics, general physics, relativistic physics, etc.. Michio Kaku is a brilliant guy and when he's not working on string theory, he is a physics professor at Citi College in New York. He also writes books intended for a general audience, written in layman's terms, where he describes the current state of leading-edge physics work and his work on string theory. I've read a couple of his books, "Hyperspace" and "Parallel Worlds". If anyone is interested in reading about what is being developed by theoretical physicists these days, I would recommend reading those books and watching out for other things Michio Kaku is working on. He occasionally appears on TV and radio and has his own web site:
