Replying to a message of Mike Powell to FLORIS VAN UNEN:

Sorry I didn't see the original. ;) It is Debian. I have installed it, or derivatives (Devuan, Raspbian) on most all of my machines.

I dislike systemd with a passion so I use Devuan. If Free catches up on a few
things desktop-wise, I'd love for it to be my daily driver.

The system or two I use devuan on is because of systemd. They are older/low-powered and, for whatever reason, a non-systemd variant behaves
    much better on them.

I use Devuan Daedalus on the system that I test MBSE BBS on to make sure it plays nicely with Debian derived distributions. Figuring out how to use systemd is REALLY low on my priority list at the momemt.

I still have mine on Slack. The only reason I don't use Slack on my
personal box is because of Slack's exceptionally slow development. It's
why Wordle no longer works on Slack because the doorgame needs thre
    latest glibc.

    You could use Slackware-current ...

Always a new version here: https://us.slackware.nl/slackware/slackware64-current-iso/

My BBS runs on it and haven't had any problems.

I'm not a beta tester. I spent nearly 40 years cleaning up other
people's messes in IT as a system admin and a network admin.

    No thanks.

I have enough on my hands helping Andrew out with MBSE. :)

If I was going to change OSes, I'd use FreeBSD.
