    I'm curious if anyone here is a fan of G&L guitars?

    G&L was founded around 1980 by Leo Fender (of Fender musical instruments) and George Fullerton. Since G&L has some Fender heritage, several of their guitar models are like the Fender Telecaster and Fender Stratocaster. They have a few unique models of their own too. I think they make great guitars.

    I had a Fender Stratocaster with a small crate amp back in the day. That was a really nice, solid, inexpensive guitar. Later, I moved to synths and had an old Roland analog synth. Don't remember the model number, but it was completely analog with sliders to modulate the sound. Possibly looking to start a small synth collection back up, maybe get one of those 90's Ensoniq synths with the 3.5 inch drives built in that I couldn't afford back then. Never heard of G&L.

    That's cool. I enjoy synths too.. Currently I have a Roland Juno-G which I play occasionally. One reason I liked the Juno-G is that it has an on-board multi-track recorder (I think it can record up to 8 tracks). They've since removed that feature from later synths, and I suppose I can understand why -
    If I were going to be doing some recording, I'd probably opt to record on my PC rather than on the synth.

    Never heard of G&L.

    It seems many people haven't.. I only just heard about G&L several years ago. I was surprised that a company co-founded by Leo Fender himself doesn't seem to be very well known. But I think they make some great guitars.
