• Having a Bad Day

From Mike Dippel@999:1/1 to All on Sun Nov 10 15:26:44 2024
Just returned home from a camping trip. Had a great time but I was suffering from my
COPD the entire trip. We always have the use of a meeting room when we camp. This
involved many walks back and forth from our RV to the hall and back again, numerous
    times each day.

It wasn't a long walk, but I found myself short of breath quite a bit over the 3 days we
    were gone.

I have a CT scan of the chest coming up this week. I'm hoping my Pulmonologist can
finally help me in some way. My son always kids ne by saying, "Don't worry Dad.
Breathing is overrated". Of course I disagree :)

I was supposed to sing in the church choir today. I took the day off. Maybe next week.

Maybe a change in the weather. My sweetie doesn't have COPD but she often suffers from short of breath during a change in the weather. She is practically a walking weather vane.

    Take care of yourself.

Sorry to hear that. I believe at last count I was told I only have 48% lung capacity.
Makes it hard to breathe no matter the weather conditions.

I love it in Florida, although maybe Arizona might be better for me.
