• Knee Replacement Surgery

From Mike Dippel@999:1/1 to All on Mon Oct 6 16:36:38 2025
My wife has been waiting for over a year to have a knee replacement, and she finally got
    it last Friday.

When I had mine done years ago, I went through 3 months of pain. It looks pretty good
for her. She only needs arthritis pain relief pills to deal with the pain, and refuses to
    take anything opiate related.

It was outpatient surgery, so she was home the same day; walking with the aid of a
    walker with wheels.

She has in-home PT and she is already exceeding their expectations. The knee bent is
at an angle of 80% and straight is around 90%, much better than mine after 3 days
    from surgery.

It looks good for a quicker return to pickleball than she originally expected.

I had my second done last October and it didnt go so well. I have only a 70 degree bend in the knee and it limits my motorcycle riding. Sadly thinking of selling the bike
