I was a police officer for 21 years in Fort Lauderdale. When I cam across a juvenile possessing cannabis, I never made any arrests. I never felt like marijuana was evil even though it was against the law.

Fast forward to today, we just placed our vote to allow it in Florida. Since we did early voting, I don't knwo what the outcome will be, but I am pretty sure it will pass.

Although I have never used it, I believe that it could have some medicinal qualities and I might be willing to try a gummy or 2 in the future to see if helps my aches and pains.

I lived in Florida all of my life until Jan 2022, when my wife, our youngest, and I moved to N. Georgia. When we lived there I was legally allowed to use it for pain. I have major neck and back issues from 2 major car accidents.

I was able to stop using prescription pain killers for several years. I love our new location in Georgia but, marijuana is NOT legal here at all. I unfortunately had to go back on pain killers full-time.

I am drug-tested every 28 days (and of course I would not use marijuana anyways since it is not legal here) but, my hopes is that it will become legal here and they will allow it. Even if it is 50/50. Where I cut back on the pills and I am allowed to use marijuna(THC) in some form.

Until then, I must do what I have to to survive my pain that will be life-long.

Sorry to hear about your circumstance. What type of work do you do that you are drug
tested regularly? Can you do a gummy of some sort instead of weed?

I am not against that at all. It helps to stop/prevent drug abuse/not using and selling medicine. We also habe to sign paperwork that says we can be called at any moment for a random drug test and or pill count.

I don't disagree with any of those. I cannot take gummys or anything not prescribed by my doctor, and unfortunately THC is still illegal here in Georgia.

Again, I feel for you. My son got t-boned years ago and never got the proper treatment
to be able to fully recover. He still has pain as a result. He doesn't see a pain doctor.
He just sort of lives with it.
