Hey all,
I recently put together the LEGO Enterprise. It looks awesome. If anyone is thinking to get this... you should. Obviously you should be a fan of the series but beyond that it was a fun build. I don't usually buy kits if at all and have not done builds like this. Its complicated in nature but not impossible. The instruction book guides you. I had a few ugh and what?!? moments that got hairy but I managed to make it through. I feel like now that I conquered this I can build anything LOL.
This is the perfect size for a bookshelf. I have it sitting on my desktop and I have a light shining from below. There is a light kit apparently for it, the cost of which is likely another couple hundred. It has some weight to it. I had plans to suspend from the ceiling but decided not to.
It comes with a bunch of mini figs, pretty much everyone you would expect to see from the crew. Overall I'm very impressed with the build and look of it. I'm just happy that LEGO decided to release a TREK themed set as I sit every year asking Santa.
Anyone build this too?
