So I'm FINALLY in a position to upgrade my 20W DIODE laser to a larger CO2.

I originally researched and REALLY wanted the GLOWFORGE. However, after seeing that it REQUIRED the Internet just to work, that was when I had started looking at other alternatives.

I've been looking up the differences between the DIODE and the CO2. I know the CO2 will do more things that I really want, but it appears that I need to learn how to :
    1) align mirrors
    2) track antifreeze (unless I place this in my basement)
    3) learn how FREQUENCIES affect items (this is a more difficult issue as there aren't many help files out there on that in itself.)

Anyone on here use a CO2 and point me in the right direction to learn?

I used to bowl in leagues when I was younger...and the tagline below
    is appropriate. <G>

When I was in a kids bowling league, with the American Junior Bowling Congress, I got an award for rolling a 206 (200 game). I've never had a
300 game, though. Also, when I bowled, we were in a handicap league
    instead of "Scratch".

Now, I play the "Galaxy Bowling" app on my smartphone (that I got from
Google Play Pass), and a couple of the bowling doors on the BBS.

It had been years since I bowled. I used to average around 168 but I would always
have the second highest score by the end of the year because I could always have a
    good day.

I tried to bowl a game or two last year. What a disaster <g>. I couldn't keep from
sticking when I released the ball. I didn't stand a chance of bowling a good game. I still
enjoy watching others bowl though. It's just like the game of pickleball. COPD keeps me
from playing, but I love to watch it on TV.

I never got into bowling, but maybe I should have. The mother of
a school friend of mine took a few of us out bowling when I was
about 12 years old. I'd never bowled before, or since.

But I immediately discovered I had a bit of a hook when I threw the
ball and I worked out that if I aimed to almost hit the gutter on
the left, the ball would hook and hit the pins almost dead centre.

Long story short.. The mother, who bowled in a league, was amazed
and not at all happy when I ended up with a better score than she
had.. 250 or very slightly higher.

I have good days and bad days on the BBS bowling, and Android app
of Galaxy Bowling. Plus, Galaxy Bowling offers several variations.

I used to watch the PBA all the time on ABC years ago. Many of
the bowlers back then have retired, or passed away.

I grew up in Detroit when it was safe to ride the bicycle anywhere, anytime. On Saturdays, I would watch the PBA tour,, then ride my bike to the bowling alley.

I kept my ball in a locker there. I would bowl a couple of quick games,, then ride home in time for dinner.

    Those were the days!

Hard to think of a big city as a safe place to bicycle, although I
never had the chance to try it in a big city. By the time I was 9
we had moved out to the country where it was fairly safe biking
around, but there was a lot of distance to cover.

I had a friend that lived 7 miles from me and at times I'd bike out
there in the morning, come home for lunch, and then back out there
    again for the afternoon.

It was about 1.25 miles to school and in summer I used to bike
there all the time.. It probably bothered my parents more than I
knew since there was a bus that stopped at the end of our driveway.
