Hi all,
Wanted to pass on some info - for any of you that use a Plex server...
The "Lifetime Plex Pass" is currently on sale (this week only) for
$150 (normally $250). Pretty good deal, maybe a nice stocking stuffer.

Thanks for the info. I live in a development that provides most
premium programming as a free plus for its residents so I have never looked into it. What equipment or devices are necessary to create a server?

The server software will run on most any modest computer, on either
Linux or Windows. Usually it is played on your TV via a free app on a Roku, Apple TV, or similar device (even a Smart TV, I think).
You don't need the "Plex Pass" at all if you're not trying to stream content outside your house/local network. It's all free.
