That is odd. Do they no longer include manuals with new cars, or did the dealer forget to give it to you?

I was just looking in the manual for my 2017 Escape and it says

It is a hybrid with the addition of electric plugin. It acts like

>a hybrid so is capable of being towed, 4 wheels on the ground.

That's great for your uses..

A lot of my cars and toys didn't come with manuals but you can usually
find manuals online and download a free copy.

My Escape did come with a paper manual but I went online and found
a PDF manual for it so I can search for things more easily and I
can keep a copy handy on my computer and cell phone..

Ha.. As I was saving this reply I noticed the Tagline and, out of
almost 1000 songs in the collection I have on this computer, the
one that just started playing was 'He Ain't Heavy...'.. B)

It's only available online in an HTML version. I guess that is so they can easily update it.
I bookmarked it. It would be better if they did a PDF version so I could use CTRL-F to
easily search it. Only the warranty is in PDF format.

I'd have to know the exact model of your car I guess but I think
you said it was a 2026? Escape Hybrid. I did a quick search using
the term: 2026 Escape Hybrid.. and I saw listings for PDF manual
downloads from several sites so you can probably find one if you
decide you'd like one. A couple of the listings were from Ford.ca
and Ford.com and others like ownersman.com.

It shows a search button at the top left but it has no function that I could see. As a web
designer myself, you would think that a large corporation could do a better job.

Just as a curiosity I tried to view that document but kept getting
errors, possibly due to country codes not matching.

I just tried that again going through Ford.ca and I found a link
to the full manual for all 2025 Ford Escape models, but you can
only access it online, not download a copy of it.

Is that what yours is like?

I tried to get a PDF manual for same and all those links that
suggested they had the manual were wrong so it's good that you did
find what you needed.

There are utilities or web sites that will convert an HTML file
to PDF if you have a copy of the full HTML file and wanted that
but it sounds like you are happy enough with what you have.
