Heading out Thursday for another weekend of camping. I have a spot reserved at the Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park. Stayed there once before, several years ago. As I recall, we had quite a bit of rain that trip. Hoping for better weather this time around. I'm just glad to be able to get away!

What state is that in? We have some Stephen Foster related sites here in Kentucky. To my knowledge, most of them don't have overnight facilities, though.

It's in Florida. They are having their 73rd annual Florida Folk Festival on Memorial Day weekend. One of these days I'll be able to secure a spot either in that park or nearby over the festival weekend. It's supposed to be pretty great with music, dance, crafts and food.

I wish I could join you, our coach is in the Villages for repair, and we are leaving Friday
for a 3 week trip in our car to Michigan and back. We will probably pick up the coach on
our return home.

Maybe some day we can get together?

We'll have to see if we can work something out! Have a safe trip to Michigan and a safe return! It's always good to get home after being away for an extended period of time. :)
