    Just watched this movie last night. HOW the HELL did this snooze fest win an Oscar??? This was absolutely the WORST Godzilla film I've ever seen, and I'm a huge fan of the Japanese Monster films (Gamora being my favorite of the monsters). The only thing this movie is good for is to help insomniacs.

    It is difficult to beat the original Japanese Gojira (sp?). ;)

    I'm still waiting for them to make modern movies of some of the other old Japanese monster films. Gamora was always my favorite.

    For me, it was Mothra. Course, having a couple six-inch island cuties doesn't hurt either.
