• What book are you reading?

From JaXson@701:1/20 to All on Mon Jan 29 06:43:28 2024

Within the bible, what book are you reading / studying right now? My family reads a chapter a night together and discusses it. December as Luke, and this month John. We are mostly finalizing the Gospels at the moment. Any suggested read for a family ranging from 7-52 after we complete John? I want to go right to Revelations, our minister is in Acts.

Within the bible, what book are you reading / studying right now? My family

I would be interesting in what other families and groups are doing. I have fallen
out of attending church. But circumstances have opened my eyes, to see the value
of attending -- and reading more of the bible.

So I would love to hear what folks are doing. I've never studied with my family. Have always did bible reading a church; and in preparing for Sunday School
    at church.

Church can be anywhere. Even virtual like right where you're sitting. Know this. God is omnipresent, meaning He is everywhere, all the time in every corner and involved in everyones life in some fashion or another whether we'd like to admit it or want it to happen for us. So having church here is something we can do. This right here, reading from all of you is a book all
by itself as it's a gathering, an assembly of peers that want to be fed the Word of God and are yerning to fufill their needs and to get things happening in their lives. Be sure to check out the other areas, and let us all get involved in this project.

There are a few books that I consider mandatory reads for all Christians:

The Holy Bible (more literal translations are preferred such as NASB & NKJV) Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis
The Alpha Course's "Questions of Life" by Nicky Gumbel

    Cheers!
