• SBBSecho: -R, -R=, -D=, -L and -Q are missing from its usage output

From Rob Swindell@1:103/705 to GitLab issue in main/sbbs on Mon Nov 2 17:58:00 2026

SBBSecho accepts five command-line options that its own usage output does not list, so the only way to find them is to read the argument parsing:

    | Option | Effect |
    |---|---|
    | `-R` | Rescan and re-export all messages |
    | `-R=<count>` | Rescan and re-export the last *count* messages |
    | `-D=<days>` | Rescan and re-export messages from the last *days* days |
    | `-L` | Send the given link an AreaMgr list of all available areas |
    | `-Q` | Send the given link a list of the areas it is connected to |

    The usage text lists only the single-letter default toggles (`-p -n -d -i -c -e -m -t -q` to disable, `-h -u -r -g -a -@ -w` to enable).

`-R=` and `-D=` mirror the `R=<count>` / `D=<days>` arguments of the `%RESCAN` AreaMgr netmail command, which *is* documented, so the command-line spelling being absent looks like an oversight rather than a deliberate omission.

util:sbbsecho on the wiki had no current command-line options section at all — only a table of options removed in earlier versions — so it has been given one, including these five with a note that the utility does not list them.

Same class as #1321 (uedit, echocfg and umonitor accepting `-insert` without listing it).
