Are you a fan of Police Squad! ? Or just seen the movies?

Loved that show. Tool bad it only got six episodes. My favorite part were the endings where they "froze" the last scene. As Slappy Squirrel would say, "Now, THAT'S comedy!"

Yeah, and then someone would usually wander through while everyone else was standing still. :D

I think it was the first episode where the scene was frozen while, supposedly, hot coffee is being poured into a cup. Naturally, it over flows and you see the character kinda cringee as if being burned. Funny stuff.

I guess I might have to rewatch the series.
At the time I do not rememeber being a big fan, thought the original Naked Gun's were a bit slow and dry. Might have to rewatch them too.

Oh.. I forgot to ask, because my recollection is that Police Squad was always in color!

Were any of the eppisodes in B&W?

Loved PS. My favorite bit was at the end of each episode, the actors would freeze, like it's a still frame, yet everything around them would keep going, all while the credits rolled. Such a shame it only lasted for six episodes.

No. The "In Color" was taken from late '60s-early '70s shows that would use it in their intros as B&W sets were still very common.

Its Leslie Neilsen playing that role so cut-n-dry that made the originals so great...
