Yesterday, while playing LORD, I found a not-so-useful shortcut key.

If you forget that you are in the forest, and then accidentally use the "B"
key to go to the Bank (instead of "Y"), your characters does something unexpected that summons a vulture and has a negative affect on whatever gold you happen to be carrying on you at the time.

Oh nice! And all this time I thought you had to exit the forest to go to
the bank and make a deposit. I guess if you want to keep some of your gold
and not deposit it all, you still should do that.

into your bank account for you. ;-)

I somehow had never caught onto that. I guess it is good so long as you
want it all deposited. I just figured, with it being an ugly vulture, that
the money was gone. ;)

Haha, yep I guess even ugly vultures and be kind (and thrifty)!

I use that key a lot, as a way to safely deposit money in case I am unexpectedly killed, without having to "exit" the forest and get to the
bank (and then back to the forest). Big time-saver.

since when you are starting out you can die real easy and lose your gold,
it's a good feature.

Yeah, I just used it today on a game that had been reset recently. It is a good one to remember.

When in the forest, you can type "jennie" and the game will ask you what you think about her. Depending on your answer, you can either get a little extra help or it will hurt you. Seth Robinson got his inspiration for Jennie from Jennie Garth of Beverly Hills 90210. Jennie Garth played Kelly Taylor.

FOXY = +1 extra gem
BABE = +1 extra forest fight
SEXY = +1 extra player fight
LADY = recieve gold equal to your current level x1000
DUNG = turns you into a frog until you apologize
UGLY = will kick you back to the bbs, and when you return you only have 2 HP

I always use BABE. I've also read that you can only use "jennie" once a day during gameplay if you start the game in high spirits, but I've found that not to be true. Whenever I am in the game and you run across a situation that puts you back into high spirits, like when you kiss Olivia, you can use the Jennie easter egg again. Fairly neat! This does not work when you are in low spirits.
