I was thinking the 440 was HF since the only Kenwood 2M rig I once
owned had 4 numbers after the TS, Me wrong , it looks like ur 440 is
for 2M. DUH!

My 440 is HF only from 10-160 meters. Not sure where you saw it was for 2 meters.

For 2 meters, I have a Yaesu FTM-3100 mobile rig. For 440 and GMRS, I have
a Motorola mobile rig.

Well Sir, I goofed.
When I looked at the link for the TS440 the first two digits shown on the display was 14 Didn't notice the Dot after the 4 and thought the display was showing a frequency in the Two Meter Band .

As I mentioned earlier, before I was Licensed the Hams who knew me in High School all called me LID Vance.

And I've tried to be a good LID ever since.
Except when My younger Brother tells them; All the stories about Me are True, No One has to exaggerate when they are telling a story about Me.
