    Wilfred,

Only 5 months till the next election! ;-)

I feel a need to reflect inward and turn to the bible's new testament ...

In Matthew 26:39 Jesus prays in the Garden of Gethsemane before his arrest: "Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."

And in Mark 14:36 it goes as follows "Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will."

Or Luke 22:42 "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done"

Now especially the gospel according to Mark is interesting, it uses the word "Abba" which sheds a complete new light on the music evolution in the 2nd part of the 20th century when that Swedish band won the Eurovision song contest and introduced us to the godly curves of Agnetha's behind ...

Bjorn, we're counting on you to unravel the mistery ...

But musically speaking, as an answer to your excellent attempt at getting me going, I'd rather stick to Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice's lyrics in Jesus Christ Superstar's song "Gethsemane (I only want to say)" ....

    I only want to say
    If there is a way
Take this cup away from me
For I don't want to taste its poison
