    Hello All!

Does anyone know where to find the most current echos/fechos lists?
I subscribed to a fileecho ECHOLIST, but couldn't find anything newer than 2023, same goes for fileechos.

P.S. %LIST or %AVAIL from the uplink doesn't seem to be reliable (outdated info).

    Thanks.

    Alex

the ELIST file echo is the one. There is always a once the month updated list. File echos, think Vince Coen at 2:250/1 also maintains the list now

Does anyone know where to find the most current echos/fechos lists?

You can connect the Z1BONE area. There are daily lists of echo and file areas of the areas available at 229/426.

The echolist is also released monthly in the ECHOLIST area. The archive contains a BACKBONE.NA based on areas maintained by the echolist.

FILEGATE.ZXX is also released monthly in the FG_WORF file area based on active file areas in the filegate.

This is the ECHOLIST fileecho, correct?

    http://www.filegate.net/pub/echolist/ doesn't have anything newer than 2023

My uplink 1:229/426 has no files in ECHOLIST at all.

Z1BONE only contains 30-day active traffic list.

Z1BONE does contain a 30day list as well as a 90 and 365 day list along with a list regardless of age.

    Also alist of file areas.

The echolist is also released monthly in the ECHOLIST area.
    Are you sure?

    Yes.

I couldn't find any proof of that.

I took a look at the current elist archive that arived here around the second or third of the month.

You are right, I was thinking of the echolist file area, mine shows:

    -rw-r--r-- 1 pi pi 2620 May 14 17:22 descript.ion
    -rw-r--r-- 1 pi pi 122496 May 14 17:22 EL250216.ZIP

    -rw-r--r-- 1 pi pi 125153 May 14 17:22 ELST2505.ZIP

The dates all being May 14 is because I moved from one Pi to another and forgot to preserve file dates

The sysop (Janis Kracht) of that website died. Her fido system has been gone for a while and that website is frozen in time, and will disappear when the bills don't get paid anymore.
