    More on music..

On the news tonight they were going on about the problem with
AI writing music, the gist of which was that it takes jobs away
from people who write music. They said that since AI is using
all known tricks to make the music 'good' that it tends to pass
any tests checking to see if it was written by a person or not.

My thought was, if people write better music then it shouldn't
matter if AI is creating inferior music. But it also begs the
question, if AI can write as good or better music then what
does it matter where the music came from? Enjoy!

    I'm reminded of one of the old Sci-Fi movies (D.A.R.Y.L - 1985)
where it was said: "A machine becomes human when you can't tell
    the difference anymore.."

Just a thought that this relates even more to AI than robotics..

Obviously people losing work over it won't be happy, but we've
had machines of multiple types taking people's jobs away forever
because they could do the same work often faster and cheaper.

If I recall the details correctly, many years ago Honda shut
down a motorcycle plant somewhere that employed hundreds of
workers and reopened it later, fully automated, with only 6
employees working there and higher output..
