I also tried to implement on-the-fly .req processing so that requested file is received in the same session.

Allright, since I need new developer account and this is a very long journey,
I decided to make AfterShock for Android available for everyone for
free and make it in style. In FidoNet style.

Try to FREQ AS-ANDROID. Right now it is latest 1.8.0 version.

This is APK signed by my developer key and has same signature as
from Google Play Store, so theoretically if you purchase app from
Play Store - you will get an upgrade without removal of previous app.
But, Google is Google - be careful :-)

In future I will probably keep this distribution method, but versions
available by FREQ will be 5 versions older than in play store - I
need to review Terms and Conditions of Play Store. I'm afraid they
will be unhappy with my move.

Yeah, that would be great to have it natively. I was looking for some temporary workaround from Android side to force the dark mode for the certain app, but there is no way in my Pixel.

Can you not fix the back key so you can go back to the previous screen instant of the main screen, we have on a Light Phone 3 a hardware back key but that works only for Licht tools and not other apps ;(

Binkd can be compiled for DOS using either [M$ C 6](https://github.com/pgul/binkd/blob/master/mkfls/dos-msc6/Makefile) or [gcc DJGPP](https://github.com/pgul/binkd/blob/master/mkfls/dos-djgpp/Makefile) but it will use the dos4gw or similar, so no i286.
