All Good Vk its done thats the main thing have been a lot of changes while
you been away family bbs has moved onto raspberry pi and seems to be running smooth add new messages in Familynet ect oh learning how to use rasp pi as i

Cool and thanks. Yeah I love the Pi, and I upgraded my BBS storage to SSD. The SD card is now read only, and just holds the OS. Everything writeable is either on the SSD or RAMdisk.

I have no idea how to install other things on it was i major just to get
mystic / doorparty / mrc chat working be nice if i could link the chat to another bbs ... i wanted to setup a irc server and services but dont know
how a irc network would be cool

Depends what it is - most common ways to install things are either as a package through your package manager (may require the addition of a third party repository), or build from source. I do both quite frequently.
