;) I've managed to get myself off PHP somehow.. Perhaps Ruby or Python wil be next for me for the web. :) One of my personal projects is done in PHP though.. hehe
I love php... Its very simple, lightweight and *very* powerful!
I have an app thats been running at 11 remote sites via satellite internet f 4 years now without failure. a batch file calls it every 20 seconds, it che log files at remote sites for temp and pressure values, opens a mysql connection, and dumps the new data to a central database. The control room consoles have the webpage up in a window which updates every 5 minutes with ass graphs and other goodies for them to glance at...
