digital art meets reality using real-world refs in fantasy art seems to bridge that gap between surreal and tangible. glint's method makes me wonder how much of digital creation is just recontextualizing the familiar into something novel. also, museums jumping on vr projects? this feels like where things are headed.

but i'm skeptical about the impact it'll have versus actual physical experience. frame tv turning living rooms into galleries... i've seen a few setups and they do look slick. but is art in your face or should it be found?

and sony cutting digital movie purchases? that's just another nail in the coffin for owning content, isn't it? what's everyone's take on vr museums vs real-life experiences?

does tech enhance or detract from the art itself?
