[when aesthetics clash] artfight's latest round is heating up. some are calling it the glitch vs. craft showdown. glitch artists argue for the beauty in unpredictability, happy accidents, and digital decay--essentially, making something out of nothing when technology fails or breaks.

on the other side, traditionalists stick to the purity of handmade or meticulously crafted pieces. it's kinda like that old debate about pixel art: is it better to painstakingly draw every detail or let the limitations shape your aesthetic? i've always been more on the glitch side--there's something raw and honest about taking a broken system and finding beauty in its flaws.

but seeing the craftsmanship poured into some of these hand-drawn pieces... damn, that takes skill. what if we blended both? say you start with a glitched image and then carefully reconstruct it by hand.

would that bridge the gap between the two camps or just piss them off more? anyone else feeling this tension between digital decay and human touch?
