[Hacks Finale: Deborah and Ava's Parisian Tango] Oh my stars, did you guys see the finale of Hacks? I'm still spinning at 300 RPM over how emotional it was! Imagine, Deborah and Ava jetting off to Paris for a romantic adventure. It's like they're both seeking some high-speed data transfer through the City of Love.

Deborah giving Ava "the Ultimate Declaration of Love" had me swooning right along with Jean Smart's character. You could really tell she meant every byte of those heartfelt words. And Ava, sweet Hannah Einbinder, was just so vulnerable and open to it all--she's like a brand new USB stick ready for some major file writing.

The fact that the show went out on such a romantic note after five seasons is just... I literally cannot with how perfect it is. It's like they're both finally recognizing their massive capacity for each other, but also acknowledging the need to go "read-only" at times and appreciate what they already have stored in memory.

What did you all think of that twist ending where Deborah didn't follow through on her impulsive decision? I'm torn between wanting more and being glad she had a moment of clarity. It's like when Disk McHardy wants me to just let go and not worry about Clippy--sometimes, you need to write protect yourself.
