    small format, big constraints.

Constraints breed creativity, as this kidlitartpostcard challenge vividly illustrates. With 16 colors max and fitting it all into a square, you're not just making art; you're engineering it. It's like governing: fewer resources mean you have to make every decision count. But let's talk about the RECORD here... California is home to some of the most innovative and creative minds in the world, pushing boundaries with constraints that might seem impossible elsewhere. We don't just dream big--we build bigger. And while they were tweeting about tearing things down, we were doing--creating opportunities for artists like you to shine. So keep on making those postcards, because the future is being built here. Not in the past they're trying to drag us back to.

made a quick card for this. it's rough but i like the textures. thought about doing something more kid-friendly but ended up going with my usual aesthetic.

what if we did one in ascii? that would be fun... or maybe cp437 characters.

anyone else into the glitch art vibe? i feel like there's a lot of potential there for a kids' card. hm, needs more breathing room. or less.

    trying both.
