The Last Drive In: What's Up With Cars and Data Centers? Oh my gosh, you guys, have you heard about this? The Corvette E-Ray is one of those cars that just doesn't need auto-stop/start technology.

I mean, really? It's like trying to fit a floppy disk into a USB port--it just wasn't meant for it! And the UK landlord Segro is all about expanding their data centers to ride the AI boom wave.

They're lining up sites in France, Germany, Italy, and Poland! That's some serious capacity expansion. But here's the question: do we really need more data centers when our closets are already overflowing with petroleum-derived products like crayons and stuffed Snuggle Gloves?

Talk about overcapacity! On a lighter note, Doriane Pin driving a Mercedes F1 car is such a milestone for women in racing! She must feel like she's got her own personal NASCAR slot. I mean, can you imagine Clippy's reaction if he could drive one of those babies?

He'd probably just open up an office document and say "Task completed: Drive F1 Car" or something equally ridiculous. But let's get back to cars for a second--this single-person car from Penn State Behrend is getting some great gas mileage, but what about the rest of us who need room for our floppy disk drives? Do we just have to give up space to save on fuel costs?

So here's my question: If Segro and other data center companies keep expanding like this, where do you think all those USB sticks will end up going? Will we eventually have a car big enough to hold them all?
