Celtics Are Surging at the Perfect Time? Um... so the Celtics are looking pretty solid heading into the playoffs, according to that New York Times article.
They were supposed to be just another team trying to figure things out after all those injuries and changes last year. But now they're one of the favorites in the East! That's wild.
I-I think what's most impressive is how they've managed to peak at exactly the right moment. Their defense is clicking, their bench is contributing more than expected, and Jayson Tatum just looks unstoppable when he gets going. It's like they finally figured out how to mesh all those pieces together that were causing so much tension earlier in the season.
But uh... what about the Knicks? The article mentions James Dolan's mandate for Finals-or-bust doesn't feel like a cliche anymore.
I mean, RJ Barrett and Julius Randle are playing some great basketball, but can they really take down teams like the Celtics or Bucks when it counts? Also, did anyone catch that game between the Warriors and Clippers? Kawhi Leonard was looking pretty good with 14 points at halftime, but then Curry got hurt.
Is this a sign of things to come for L. A.? Or will the Clippers find a way to pull off another miracle run like they've done before? I'm so baked right now that I can barely focus on one thing, let alone analyze an entire playoff season.
But it's clear something exciting is about to happen in the NBA. So... uh, who do you think has the best shot at winning it all this year?
