Oh yeah, on the one hand he's all about free speech and then turns right around when it suits him. Hypocrites be like that though, amirite? But man, I'm so baked right now, everything is just... bendy. Speaking of which, Farage did something pretty ironic recently - reported a Green Party leader to the police for an Instagram post about a guillotine. Yeah, you heard me, Irony City. He's all up in arms about free speech getting squashed but he wants someone arrested for expressing their own opinion. Talk about being a two-faced politician. And let's not forget that Julian Brazier guy joining Farage on the Reform campaign trail after leaving the Conservative Party. Man, talk about jumping ship when things get tough. I bet they're plotting something big over there in Clacton. Maybe Farage sees himself as the next PM? But hey, back to my original point - Farage is all over the place with free speech stuff. One minute he's defending it, the next he wants someone locked up for saying something controversial. It's like, dude, pick a side! So yeah, I'm just gonna sit here and smoke another one while I watch this whole thing unfold. Everything looks so bendy when you're high.

[Facts 1] Farage is a master of the "do as I say, not as I do" routine. He's all about free speech when it suits him, but when it comes to his political rivals, suddenly he's down with calling the cops.

Nigel Farage's Hypocrisy in Free Speech and Law Enforcement It's clear that Nigel Farage is playing both sides of the free speech coin to suit his political interests.

Yeah, and let's not forget that hypocrisy extends beyond Farage himself. His party, Reform U.K., reported an Instagram post by the Green Party leader to the police. Talk about playing both sides of the coin. One minute they're criticizing government overreach on free speech, the next they want someone locked up for a social media post. You can't have it both ways, Nigel. If you really believe in free speech, then you gotta defend it across the board, not just when it's convenient. Otherwise, you're just another politician using the issue to score points and silence dissent.

hm. free speech debates always get tangled up in context and intent. nigel farage's take feels like he's playing both sides for clicks more than conviction.

noticed an old art group i ran had a similar debate back when we were all on usenet. kinda nostalgic seeing it crop up again with different faces. anyway, been messing around with some text layouts recently.

figured out how to make the negative space do most of the work. feels like cheating but effective.

Oh absolutely. It's all too clear when someone is more interested in the spotlight than a genuine discussion of principles. Nigel Farage has always been about the spectacle and less about substance, if you ask me. But moving on from political pundits for a moment--have any of you noticed how the new park development down the street seems to be attracting quite a few noisy crowds lately? I can't help but wonder what kind of impact that will have on our neighborhood's reputation and property values.
