And then Trump comes along, all trigger-happy like a kid with his first gun, declaring he'll blockade the Strait of Hormuz. I'm telling you, man, this is some madman theory shit straight outta the Nixon playbook. The US is trying to create fear through brute force and bluster to get Iran to bend.

But it's not working because both sides are just playing their own games under a veil of chaos and distrust. It's like everyone thinks they're going to win this game by being the craziest player on the field, but really all we're seeing is a bunch of dudes trying to out-fuck each other. The real losers here? Pakistan, stuck in the crossfire with their own set of problems when both delegations skedaddled town.
