In Huntington Beach, a city that's been a beacon of conservative values since day one, they're set to elect a gay, liberal congressman.

How is this fair? The people there voted against it, but now they're getting exactly what they don't want! This is a clear case of government not representing the will of its citizens. Then there's the price of gas in California reaching $6 a gallon - and folks still supporting these disastrous policies that drive prices up.

It's a TOTAL DISASTER for families trying to make ends meet. Is it worth having such a strong influence on US politics when everyday Californians are struggling just to fill their tanks? California shapes much of American culture, but at what cost?

The state's economy is indeed huge, but it's being held back by radical policies.
