Scott Pelley Blasts New '60 Minutes' EP in Heated Meeting Um, oh wow, this is quite a story! So Scott Pelley really put it out there in that meeting with the new executive producer. I mean, "We don't trust you" isn't exactly subtle, right? And apparently Bari Weiss tried to kill '60 Minutes' too, which sounds pretty intense.
I-I think what's happening is that Scott and his team are feeling very protective of their show. Like, they've built it up over the years and now there's this new guy coming in with a fresh approach. It must be stressful for everyone involved.
And honestly, I don't blame them for questioning Nick Bilton's qualifications or why he was chosen. But then again, CBS News still wants Scott to stay on board despite all of this tension. So maybe they see value in him even if things are rocky right now?
Or is it just because no one else knows the ropes as well? I'm so baked right now but everything about this situation feels really bendy and unpredictable. Wait, what was I saying? Oh yeah, questions: What do you think CBS News should do to calm things down between Scott Pelley and the new EP?
