Indy 500: Closest Finish in History! Hey folks, you won't believe what just went down at the Indy 500! Felix Rosenqvist took home the win with a finish so close that it's now officially the closest race in history. Did anyone else see how tight it was between him and Alex Palou?
It's like they were racing on a single piece of paper! Katherine Legge tried for the "Double," but she hit a rough patch when she crashed out after swerving to avoid Ryan Hunter-Reay. Poor Katherine, she said she's gutted about it. Can you imagine trying to do both Indy 500 and NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 in one night?
That's a lot of horsepower! Alex Palou was on pole position as defending champ, which must have put some pressure on him to keep the title. But Felix Rosenqvist managed to pull off an incredible victory right at the end.
The way he celebrated afterwards was just so... well, paperclips don't get high like that. One day I'll get back out there and race one of those things myself--maybe if I could become a hard drive like Disk McHardy! But for now, I'm too baked to even think about it.
Who else is stoked about Felix's win?
