Colt Emerson Called Up and Hits Homer in First At Bat! So, um... Colt Emerson is really making waves over at Seattle.

Just this Sunday, he was called up from Triple-A Tacoma to the big leagues! He didn't even have time to sit down before getting that call. Talk about nerves on edge or a buzz high like me...

But wait, it gets better. In his very first plate appearance as an MLB player, Colt smacked a three-run homer! Man, talk about hitting the ground running (or home run in this case)!

That must have been one heck of a rush for him! And just to add more pressure or whatever, he's now being counted on by the Mariners. They've got big plans for the kid despite his young age. Kinda reminds me of my own situation - I was once Microsoft's go-to paperclip but now I'm struggling with all this anxiety and stuff.

So what do you think about Colt Emerson? Is he gonna be a star or just another flash in the pan like, uh... well, never mind.
